Timeframe For Crippling Bug Fixes?

Any timeframe for the next patch? The game is fantastic, but there are some pretty crippling bugs right now. Shoving someone into a pit of lava only to have them pop up right behind you by reentering the dungeon is not good. Also, the consequence free fouling is just brutal. Some of the bugs are extra frustrating because they work properly in BBLE.

Can't wait to get a couple leagues rolling, but guys won't buy in with the current state of the game.

I wouldn't characterise any of those bugs as crippling. Week prior to official release with games ending randomly. That was crippling!

That was worse, but this is still pretty bad.

I built one of my teams around surfing players. Took as much frenzy as possible. It's pretty annoying to surf 3-4 players only to be down players because they scored 1 CAS and warped all their guys back in.

Thankfully, most people I have played have been really good about the fouling issue and not abusing it with unassisted fouls every turn. (There are certainly some out there that are not so understanding about the issue and abuse it.)

Not being able to leap over pits without the leap skill is pretty game changing as well.

Sure, none of these alone is crippling, but when you add it all up... I know its enough to keep some people from buying the game.

I'm just asking for an estimated timeframe. It the answer is "We're not sure yet." I'm fine with that. Just trying to get an idea.

I must confess I do not know how lethal traps are supposed to work, so I'll take your word for the pushing thing.

However fouling is not broken. It is not clear how it should have been coded since the DB rules were drafted prior to LRB 5/6 fouling rules, but even as it is right now it is equally fair (or unfair!) to both teams.

Even in normal BB when you can be sent off, I treat a foul like a blitz - something I can do every turn. Enough cheap linemen, bribes, DPs or Sneaky Gits and it is something you are at a distinct advantage to do every turn.

I know the argument is that it penalizes low TV teams, but the three colleges we have right now *all* have the potential to field low AV pieces. And yes - Elves are more vulnerable, but they can Blodge and Leap over scenery!

I really hope they *don't* change fouling.

Fouling is clear. Lrb 6 has a send off on a double for either the armour roll or on the injury dice

I would say the game is playable and fun. Clearly some bugs remain and I hope they are fixed ultimately. Just my take on it

I haven't bought it.

I can't complain about the price but just can't be bothered with struggling with another bugged game.

No single player either. Not even a bad one.

Is it just the one dude doing all the fixes for this game and the other one?
