Cursor problem

I have two computers which I use to play LAN games with, and have had no problem doing so with BBLE. I loaded DB on my older computer (as I said, no problems with BBLE, using Win7 and latest graphic card drivers) and other than having to turn off my anti-virus program so it wouldn't read it as a virus, the only problem I had was that the screen was partly cut off (needed to adjust the screen resolution, but couldn't hit the options button as the bottom part of the screen was cut off -as well as the right side). I was given advice to go into the config file and change it manually, which I did. Changed to resolution I normally use on that monitor and had to enable fullscreen (monitor isn't widescreen). Before I adjusted the resolution I had no problem with the cursor, it worked fine, just couldn't use it to click on the buttons at the bottom of the page as they were cut off (as mentioned above). Now, after adjusting the resolution so the whole screen can be seen on the monitor, the cursor is stuck in the middle of the screen and doesn't move. I can move the mouse around and buttons will light up as if I pointed the cursor on them, but no way to move the actual cursor. Technically I could play the game by moving the mouse around until the desired player lights up, etc, but that's a real pain in the arse.
Can one of the technical people tell me what I can do so that the cursor will move with the mouse? Thanks.

Try running it in windowed mode.

Most of the issues are the same as in BBLE so a quick look in that main forum will find you the answers to your problems.

OK, so I looked on the BB forum and found the thread on the cursor problem, but all they said was exactly what you did, run it in windowed mode.
So excuse me for sounding like a complete noob, but how do you do that (there is no setting in the game options to run it in windowed mode.

Well, after re-reading your original post your probably not going to like this....

In the main DungeonBowl option screen make sure the enable fullscreen is unchecked.

I think you're going to have to appeal to one of those nice cyanide techies to tell you the correct setting for your config file as I know of no other way to enable your mouse.

If I uncheck fullscreen, then I can only see part of the screen and the bottom is cut off so I can't click the option button. Yes the cursor then works, but then, the problem is worse (not being able to see the whole screen (actually only the top left quarter).

You can reduce the resolution of the window (and so it's size) when you've deselected full screen. That should mean that you'll see all the window again.

Though I didn't mention it, I've tried it before, reducing resolution still doesn't display whole screen (bottom and right edge cut off).

Can anyone tell me how to run the game in windowed mode (which is supposed to solve the problem)?

Don't know, sorry. Dungeonbowl seemed to be automatically set to windowed mode for me, and I've not tried fullscreen.
