Crash, Taskbar icon gone, db.exe not closeable

Currently i cant connect to the server (hangs, no timeout). alt+f4 or alt+tab to desktop removes the task from the taskbar. the task is still visible as db.exe in the task manager but is not closeable ("The operation could not be compleeted. access denied.") when triing to kill the task. this is annoying as i cant restart the task without restarting the OS.
