Correct. I find this happens every time you have players missing for the match. You will be missing an equal number of players from the set-up list no matter if you actually have them in your ranks or not.

For example: You have 12 players. Two get seriously injured (miss next game). You buy two new ones OR you get given one mercenary for the match. In both cases, the set-up list will contain only four players when the correct amount would be six and five players, respectively.

Is it a new bug for this version? And do the players reappear in your reserve list once the game starts?

been in the whole time, has been raised by others before. and yes they appear in your reserves once the game starts, just limits your starting lineup
