What is BBATTL?*
Prologue
...The Dwarf, Skaven, and City Elf had their conversation interrupted when a Human entered the room. Perhaps more notably, he dragged in behind him a beaten and naked man in a rubber mask! An uncomfortable moment of silence passed across the group, as the newcomer looked around and seemed very pleased, ignoring the various looks of disgust, dismay, and vague disinterest from the various parties.
"Nice to have you all here. Shall we begin?". Without waiting for answers, he passed some papers out to the others. "As you can see from these numbers, a joint tournament series would be beneficial to all of our leagues."
"Skrrrrrk! We know the numbers, but what is in it for us?" the Skaven asked. "Excuse me?". The Skaven smiled, "Let me frame my question differently. Don't you think that an organization like B.B.A.T.T.L. needs a board responsible for supervising the tournaments? A well paid board of course, as they are really important. Skrrrrrk!"
He passed his own papers around. "I made my own calculations. As you can see, there will still be enough money for the leagues."
The Dwarf, Elf, and Human studied the last papers. The Elf quietly breathed an incantation over the papers laid out before her and smiled as their meaning and depth unfolded before her elven eyes. Meanwhile, the Dwarf rolled his thick-browed eyes at the elf with a muttered "Hrumph," and actually read the written words, already scribbling some numbers on his own paper, furiously calculating his organization's share.
After some minutes the men and the lady looked at each other and nodded approvingly. "Looks like we have a deal," the Human said.
"Aye."
"Skrrrrk."
"Then we're agreed."
The Tournament Circuit
The Blood Bowl Association of Touring Teams and Leagues (B.B.A.T.T.L.) Tournament Circuit is a joint series of tourneys organized by the participating leagues. Eligible teams can play any tournament of the series regardless of the league hosting the tournament. Teams can also play as many tournaments as they want as long as they meet the specific requirement for the respective tournaments. The majority of BBATTL events are seeded according to timezone until the latter stages, so even if it's a tourney hosted by a league on the other side of the world, you should still be pitted against folks from roughly your own timezone at the start.

Please consult your home league’s rules regarding reintegration into the ‘main league’. Some leagues allow teams who have competed in BBATTL events to then come back and join the main league, whereas others don’t.
The B.B.A.T.T.L. Tournament Circuit creates opportunities to play in tournaments of different leagues with the same team. This gives teams flexibility to take breaks if needed or to join another tournament as soon as they get eliminated from their current one. As many of the events are TV capped, there's no pressure to keep up with other teams - you'll always have the option of playing others at a similar stage of development, even if you're away from the game for months at a time. It should also be great for exciting and funny team stories.
