The most exciting Dungeonbowl news for the most people would be the announcement of single player Dungeonbowl. Even a bad AI would be better than none. Many, many computer strategy game players do not want to play against other people.

the forums are dead, the game is pretty much when online. its a niche of a niche, whatever gave cyanide the idea it would work as an online only game?

We have been thinking of making a single player mode for quite a while, and it could end up happening.

Right now, all efforts and funds are concentrated in making Blood Bowl 2, so it's not a prority.
