Ok, this is a serious issue. That is, unless your goal was to create a game in which one player just sits in a secure area passing the ball back and forth until time runs out and he gets rewarded for turning the experience into a total bore. One or two games of this type and the casual player is going to leave and never come back.

If anything, I think the team that had the most possession should give up the forfeit. Or penalize both coaches. Anything but rewarding a player for not scoring when he can.

if somebody is doing that to you try and injure a couple of players. as soon as you outnumber him pull back and he has to try score then or he will lose by forfeit. as a general rule you cant actually play to win by this as the game can take around 36 turns if both teams have 12 players and as players disappear the likelyhood increases of you losing the ball and your opponent nipping in to score.

if somebody does play for the forfeit once they have an obvious advantage in numbers then they are being dicks so just no play/block them.

Can you block opponents? I used the "Blacklist" button on someone and ended up playing them again anyway. Is there another method?

In Cyanide BB the blacklist feature only works for chat. I'm assuming its the same for DB. There is no way to specifically avoid playing certain players in MM.

Surely if neither team scores by the end of the game it should be a draw.

That way it might encourage players to actually try to get the winning TD. Since even if you have the ball and more players it could be the carrier who is warped out and picking it up again may prove difficult if you are a bashy team.

I agree with this suggestion - it's the best way to force coaches to take risks and keep the game moving.

This would only go part of the way as plenty of teams stall for a win in normal Bloodbowl. If you are the bashier team then you can still get plenty of spp’s from casualties and would get cash and the MVP as well so not that big a disincentive.

A more extreme solution would be if the game ends with no score then neither team gets the MVP or cash. The spectating Wizards are so disgusted by the poor show that they refuse to reward either team.

That’s harsher than a draw would be on the team that did try to win but is no different from what happens to them now.
