The death roller is simply cheated at dungeon bowl... With a strengh of 7, 4 Movement, and never 'stupid', this is simply too much difficult to beath him, or hope that he'll be out of the game at a time. I've played around 50 games now. Each time a guy putted the deathroller, i was thinking 'wtf noob :roll: '. The deathroller doesn't have his place at dungeonbowl, that's just unfair compare to other (future?) team.

So, I beg you to do something, otherwise everybody will play with the deathroller because we cannot do anything against him during a party. The boring game, bashing and bashing, hoping that I'll do more injuries than my opponent....

The deathroller have the 'break tackle' ability (can move at close combat), stand firm (never pulled at a trap) and HE CAN PLAY EVERYTURN LIKE ANY OTHER PLAYER :!: :!:

This is just scandaleous, why did you do that to a game like this :!: :!:

Just for example compare the Ogre and the Deathroller :

Ogre: 140 000
MA 5, ST 5, AG 2, AV 9
Bone-head (2+, cannot do anything)
Mightyblow
Thickskull
Throw team-mate (You'll use this at dungeonbowl?)
loner

Deathroller : 160 000
MA 4, ST 7, AG 1, AV 10
Break tackle (USEFULL at dungeonbowl!)
Dirty player (USEFULL at dungeonbowl!)
Juggernaut
Mightyblow
No hands
Secret weapon (useless at dungeonbowl!!)
Standfirm (USEFULL at dungeonbowl!)

Now, explain me why the Deathroller is only 20k more than the Ogre. And don't answer me that 'It is because he cannot handle the ball', OGRE 'CANNOT' TOO!

So now, dwarf player, take your time to say 'Yes, It is a shame to play with him'. :oops:

Anyway, I'm really angry against this unbalanced Deathroller.

A simple Juggernaut cancels Stand firm.

As far as I know an Ogre has hands so he can pick up the ball while a Roller can't even try.

:| Then be prepared to become angrier since more races will enter the game which will make DB even more 'unbalanced'.
I personally am looking forward to Vampires entering DB, who can disable a Roller with just a simple Gaze.
Heck with 4 Vampires on the field all with STR4, AG4 and AV8 you won't even need a BG.
:D Although having 2 Werewolves with Frenzy, Claws & MV8 flanking them would be nice.

Pmcc posted this in the french topic about the Death Roller, so for your information, what he told is that we agree with you on the fact that some positions may be too powerful right now. We also know that some communities have worked a lot and made wonders about the game's balance.

But we have to bring in Games Workshop in this kind of speak. We cannot modify their current rules without talking about it with them first. That does not mean they do not want to change them, on the contrary, it is possible to debate with them (and quite easier on Dungeonbowl than it is on Blood Bowl).

There were some nice proposals on the french forum too. We will analyze this and come up with something, but it should take some time. :)

So, TrickyD, i understand that you play with the deathroller, and you don't really answer to my question ...

To be really balanced :
Deathroller like he is right now, is OK for BLOODBOWL party. During a bloodbowl party, the Deathroller can play AT MAXIMUM 8 turns (due to the secret weapon abilyty). So, actually, it is 160 000 for 8 turn.
To continue with the ogre, he is 140 000 for 16 turn.
So, if you want a balanced Deathroller for 16 turn, the price should be 320 000!! at minimum

This is the truth. That's all :evil: .

Ok MILLANDSON, I've moved the Large caracter ;) . But anyway, the goal was to explain that the deathroller is really unbalanced right now compare to other player. He is for bloodbowl, not dungeonbowl.

Not that I entirely disagree that some balancing would be nice, putting it in bold, big letters and using lots of caps does not make your opinion any more important than anyone else's. Just saying.

And no, 320k is just stupid. 200k might be more appropriate.
