Dear Waldorf,

Take 5 minutes and read the 2 pdf documents available on the DungeonBowl PC official webpage. In these 2 documents, you'll find clear informations on fouls and players sent off.

So, like some guys on the french part of this forum, stop saying that there are no fouls in DungeonBowl !!! :x

I really don't want to. I like it the way it's coded now. What you are all failing to appreciate is that your interpretation of the rules is irrelevant, even if it's correct. It's Cyanide's that counts, even if it's wrong.

There is CRP (LRB 6). There is the DB rules as drafted by Jervis pre-LRB 6. There is a big gap in the middle where they don't add up. Cyanide fills the gap. You don't like the way they've done it. I do.

Telling me to RTFM isn't going to change anything. And I'll foul you every turn, hopefully with my pimped up "No Secret Weapon" Deathroller!

But if I start to move my pieces to get the maximum number of assists, well then, you might just slip through the gaps I leave. There's still a strategy, there's still risk.

It isn't balanced. But it is fair inasmuchas it's unbalanced for everyone.

Ok, you can think that but most people want a Soccer game with Offside rule, not a Madness Gameplay.

The point is, Cyanide must takes position and explains their choose.

There are Fouls on Dungeon Bowl, there is only one Truth. If Cyanide wants to change that, they must have good argument. As far as i'm concern, I will never play a DB games with this rule.

It isn't balanced. But it is fair inasmuchas it's unbalanced for everyone.

False, high AV teams and bashy ones take an advantage of this.

Waldorf - Why do you think that it is working as intended? Do you know someone at Cyanide that has said as much? (Not being snarky here, actually wondering if you have information we do not.) If it is indeed working as intended, why on earth code in bribes as they are utterly useless? As far as I can tell, they have not said anywhere that this was their interpretation of how fouling should work in DB. IMO, it appears they tried to fix it but accidentally caused all sendoffs to go away.

I know you like it, but it is against the rules. There is the 12th man bug in BB. This is also blatantly against the rules. Some people choose to exploit the software, others do not. I choose not to use exploits and it does annoy me when others use them. However, this is their choice to make I guess. It is also the reason why I abandonded all MM in BB and only play in leagues. The leagues I'm in have rules about using software exploits.

(I'm hoping that Cyanide will step in soon and tell us what their intentions are for fouling. Like I said, once I know for sure that they intend to keep it this way, I'll be buying a death roller and most likely won't be using my elf team much anymore. ;) )

Those low AV teams have more MV to successfully deploy assists and Leap out of the box, which is a colossal advantage on some maps.

If that isn't enough for you, don't play Rainbow. It's enough for me. That's what I mean by unbalanced for everyone. If you perceive a weakness with Rainbow as coded, don't play 'em. I'll enjoy leaping over you.

We don't have to agree. You don't need to waste any more time trying to convince me. As you say, let's want for Cyanide to comment. We will no doubt wait a long time.

It would be nice if Cyanide would come out and say either "This is working as intended" or "This is a bug, which we will fix [maybe/someday/soon]", as at least coaches would know where they stand.
I'd love to play Blood Bowl on the PC, but I want a FULL version, not some bugged, incomplete one.

This is not entirely fixed. If you push a player into a lethal trap and they suffer a KO or BH result, they can be Magic Sponged back to reserves and re-deployed.

The push into the trap should be resolved before the injury, so they should be placed into the same category as Lost IN Space (unable to return to the current match) before the injury roll is resolved.

See the attached replay where the Ogre then Werewolf are both pushed into the tentacle pit in the middle of the map (turn 2 or 3 I think). Both are KO'd, then later in the match both are sponged and returned to play.
