Dungeonbowl is available on Steam!

After three weeks of brutal face-to-face action  in the dungeons, Dungeonbowl ™ is now available on Steam.

The Colleges of magic, always eager to recruit new coaches, offer the Steam community a chance to join the mayhem. Dungeonbowl ™, a “sport” based on the rules of Blood Bowl (the violent fan-tasy American football game from Games Workshop), is played in a dungeon by teams made up of several races. Exploding chests, teleporters, rivers of boiling lava and various other traps all serve to spice-up the matches, making them even more dangerous. Fortunately for the teams, just one touchdown is needed for a win which means that games are usually short-lived. This leads to a reduction in the number of injuries, but it certainly does increase tension.

The basic package contains the three original teams: the Bright, Light and Rainbow wizards plus a “starter” environment kit, used to build pitches in the game’s dungeon editor. You can discover the first player-created pitches on the Facebook page or on the official Dungeonbowl™ forum.

Dungeonbowl is on sale on Steam from today, Tuesday 03rd July at $14.99. The game is also availa-ble from the official Cyanide store.
