I've just tried the spectator mode test and it looks like the game is still being played.

There were only 3 of us online so I watched a bit of a game between Pappette and Archon, quit the match and am now in the lobby. The game still shows as being played and 2 others are now watching it. Maybe it has to be specific circumstances.

- Team A has control of the ball
- Team A has moved all but 1 of their players
- Team A's last player performs an action with an automatic resolution that does NOT cause a turnover.
+ Examples:
+ Perform a successful block
+ Perform a successful blitz
+ Perform a successful pass
+ Fail a Wild Animal or Bone Head roll
+ Any action that does not require the player to hit "End Turn" after it, and does not cause a turnover.

This will result in the turn ending, and Team B being awarded the victory, both MVPs and both lots of winnings (not 100% sure about winnings as I can't see where winnings are stated in match summary).

The key to avoid the bug is to have your last player only move or perform an action that if successful doesn't end your turn automatically (open a chest, pick up a ball, etc)

Unfortunately it just happened to Teutatis and me when he failed a precarious position roll, which doesn't cause a turnover (I think), the game then finished with a win for me. Neither of us had the ball.

Edit: Sorry should have read your post through properly. That fits with what happened as I think it was his last player that failed the precarious position roll which would have caused the bug as it doesn't cause a turnover

Yup...I was going "Noooo" from my Runner next to the ball chest, falling in to remove that threat...then I was shouting it when the Defeat screen popped up!

Seriously, I don;t even play with the ranked team I take seriously, I just use two throw-away-have-fun teams as it is quite impossible to win points with this bug in place.

I would like to know if the Devs are going to WIPE the LEADERBOARD next week for actual release to the public or at the very least wipe it when the patch comes out.

It must be totally unfair to people who were in a winning position, or about to, and have that effect their position on the Leaderboard. I think I've only lost one ranked match to the bug because Im so awful lol...but I would like to hear how much of an impact this has had...and I defiantly want this answered by the Devs. So far we've seen diddly-squat from them since the, let's call it what it is...the BETA release.

They didn't wipe it when some of us got LE early due to preordering, so past experience would say no, they'd leave it (otherwise what's the real benefit of being able to play early for a week if it means nothing).

True, but half of your games have been bugged then all that time spent has been wasted.

I agree with Teutatis that it'd be good if the leader boards were reset once this bug is fixed - even though my rank position has greatly benefited from this bug ;)

Thanks for the report.
this bug has been spotted and a fix is on the way.
Expect a patch next week ( I cannot tell you exactly when for now).

Looking forward to get the fix today or tomorrow.

Obtained from the French forums via Google translate lol

A patch will be in place before the overall output of the game (Friday). Once we have the exact content you post on the forum, most likely today also.

Flip a coin and get in the line lol :D
