I thought that was the idea - there is no ref in DB, so foul as much as you can (or was that one of the permitted rule changes that GW allowed them)?
I'd love to play Blood Bowl on the PC, but I want a FULL version, not some bugged, incomplete one.

I took it as implied from the fact you can buy bribes via inducements and figured it would be something like a 6 for the ref to call it. As I have said before I havent played TT in donkey's years...you coming to play Darkson or just fermenting from the dugout?

I have not been able to check if you can Magic Sponge LIS players back to reserves since the patch, but you can Magic Sponge injured players. then redeploy them to the pitch.

My reading of the rules indicated that only KO'd players could be sponged back to Reserves:
A coach may use the sponge to treat an injured player instead of teleporting a player into the dungeon. If the player was in the KO’d or Stunned box, he is moved into the Reserves box. The sponge has no effect on players that have been
seriously injured or killed.

In a match today I was able to Sponge a Badly Hurt player back to Reserves, then redeploy to the pitch in the last turn of the match.

Can someone clarify the rules?
- Stunned/KO'd can be sponged and redeployed?
- Badly Hurt can/can't be sponged and redeployed?
- MNG/-stat can/can't be sponged and redeployed?

I can also confirm that with no reserves left and in control of the ball, I was able to make an auto-resolve action with the last player and have the turn end without a forfeit, which is great!

 Isn't it illogical to only be able to sponge KO players while the mages themselves complain of not getting their bang for their buck when their players get injured so easily?
Heck, being backed by a Magic College easily explains the use of a free apo once a round. I mean we don't have just 1 mage like in BB who btw you have to pay to do his job; in DB each team has a whole college full of mages that backs them up free of charge because it is in their own interest to do so.
I'm all for sponging dead players back into play since magic can easily bring them back to life.
But I understand that you can't sponge LIS players simply because they're.......lost.
So as long as both teams can do all that I don't believe this to be broken or imbalanced at all.

:?: So it is unlimted fouling from now on?

From my own testing:
- Stunned/KO'd players CAN be sponged and redeployed.
- Badly Hurt players CAN be sponged and returned to play.
- MNG players are unknown - I haven't had one yet.
- SI/stat decrease players CAN NOT be sponged and returned to play.

Seems pretty reasonable to me. Can anyone confirm what happens with MNG players (smashed hand, gouged eye, etc)?

I have verified that you are unable to sponge players with a -stat or dead injury. So the purchase of an apothecary now has some relevance.

Still haven't had a MNG injury to make the same attempt.

:D Ah Okay, thx.
I could swear I have done this once, but I guess that must've been before the patch.

LIS players are as Tricky says...lost. A cloud of atoms floating about the place like that Cat from The Fly lol. The rules did mention that they are lost until the end of the match, where the mages will return them to normal space. Probably with a big vacuum cleaner and then just add water lol.
