1080p? Noob getting started..

PostSat Jun 30, 2012 12:43 pm

Is there a minimum resolution for this game?

I;'m trying to run it at 1900x1080 (well actually 1844x1024 to accommodate my tv) and I can't figure out how to save a new team (is the save button being cut off at my resolution?).

Also how do I get to the video options.. when I launch the game I just see an account login screen and after I login, there is no options on the menu...

Just starting out here.

thanks for any info. If there is a quick URL I can look at, let me knowl the manual does not seem to address my issues.

thanks,

Looked at a youtube video and figured out that "Options" were at bottom of first screen.

Well, got to options and tried changing resolution to something more manageable (1776 x 1000)
but now when the game starts its extremely zoomed in .. Bottom of screen has option for Team Viewer and I can't go any lower.

If I try to uninstall the game (to reinstall it), I get the following poop up error:

ShellExectueEx failed; code 255
The extended attributes are inconsistent.

Short of lugging another monitor to this computer, does anyone have any suggestions?

One other update.. using the tab and enter keys I was able to get back in to the options menu and get the game to display somewhat normally at 1280x720 - however I have to point the mouse pointer several pixels below what I am actually intending to click making this resolution useless for play.

In any case my setup is windows 7 with a pair of older 4850 ati cards in sli config connected via a dvi to hdmi adapter to sony bravia lcd televison being used as a monitor running at a custom 1856 x 1040 resolution to accommodate the overscan.

It did not matter if I changed my resolution to 1920 x1080 - in the game options when I tried to run it at that resolution, everything was extremely zoomed in (i.e. all i saw was a portion of the selection menu).

Strange that I cannot uninstall the game without getting an error (unless this anomaly and a solution is documented somewhere else on the message board).

Kind of disappointed but I guess it is a work in progress.

That's a pretty esoteric setup you've got there ;)

This is probably a redundant question - but have you tried switching between windowed and full screen modes in the game? Might be that one of these works better for you than the other in getting the game to scale properly.

Did you try changing the overscan setting in the AMD Catalyst panel?
