DB isn't even a full game compared to BB (any version), so it's not worth £30 complete.

OMG - Cyanide are in this business to make money!

DB needs a tournament system, this is true, but that's the only feature missing from the BB games that I miss. But it also includes a damned good dungeon editor, which BB has never included. So I'd say that it is, pretty much, a full game.

Since buying BB:LE I've had several hundred hours of game play out of it - some of the guys at UKBBL have played thousands of hours - that's damned good value for a £30 game. If I get even just a third of the gaming hours out of DB that I've got from BB then it'll easily be worth spending on £30.

Darkson wrote:Nice Strawman btw on the miniatures - let's try mine.

Do you think you should have had to pay for the full BB rulebook to get all the teams, even though you only intended to play one?

If the rulebook included cardboard cutouts for all the teams then your example would be valid. As it is Cyanide provide more than just the rulebook - if you just want that I'd recommend FUMBBL instead (though I'm disappointed that they don't have bombardiers included in their game yet).

Another Strawman arguement - of course it didn't include a dungeon editor, why would it - it doesn't include a flight sim either.
I'd love to play Blood Bowl on the PC, but I want a FULL version, not some bugged, incomplete one.

Yeah and it's easy to make your own dungeon for the table game. And to add house rules too....
More customisation, but no need to compare each platform.

Fine - remove the last 5 words from that sentence then. Still doesn't invalidate my point.

Wow dude... you should really do your research before whining and b***hing about something, coz it just makes you look like an ass.

It has already been stated, if you cared enough to give a damn, that all the new teams will be coming out in the patches... not expansions or dlc... so you don't have to pay for the new teams. They only released the game with 3 teams so that they could release the game now for us...

And hey, I don't know about you, but I'm happy with 3 teams. Reminds me of when I bought the board version of DB, where you happily play a few games and learn all the systems with the generic teams that came in the box... then you go out and get your new team and learn all their ins and out and strategies and get a good run with them before getting your next team... until finally by the end you have all the teams, you're skilled with them all and how to play/counter them.

And in before you whine about that too... you don't like patches/updates... don't play online games... or tabletop games... or online games based off tabletop games... Hells yeah to Warhammer 40K 6th edition!

False, all the team can be ready to play right now, because all the graphics and animations are already done. They are all already implemented in the Data Base. (ecxept for chaos dwarves of course).

Please just clam down and go back to the point. This topic is to talk about the next colleges upcoming in Dungeonbowl.

@Zunova: No, this is still relevant.
